Recently, Suzhou Acoustic Origin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., serving as a practical teaching base for the Underwater Acoustic Engineering major at Harbin Engineering University, successfully undertook a specialized practical course for over 20 undergraduate students from the 2023 cohort. With the theme of "integrating theory with practice and fostering talent through industry-academia collaboration," this event helped students gain an in-depth understanding of the complete process of underwater acoustic transducers, from R&D to industrialization.
During the week-long practice, the students visited our company's R&D center in Suzhou and manufacturing base in Changshu, where they systematically learned the entire process of designing, crafting, and testing underwater acoustic transducers. The company organized specialized teaching sessions on topics such as "Design and Fabrication of Classic Composite Rod Transducers" and "Transducer Process and Testing," guiding students to personally complete transducer fabrication and performance verification, thereby facilitating the transformation of theoretical knowledge into engineering capabilities.
The company's founder, Zhou Yiming, an alumnus from the 1999 cohort of Harbin Engineering University, engaged in exchanges and shared his insights with the students. Drawing on his personal entrepreneurial journey and industry experience, he encouraged them to delve deep into the field of underwater acoustics and serve national strategic needs. This event represents a significant step by Suzhou Acoustic Origin in deepening university-industry collaboration and implementing the "Alumni-Industry-University" cooperative education model.
